K9 and guarding subcontracting enquiries

K9 Security Services Ltd welcomes enquiries from security companies and facilities management providers seeking K9 handler cover, static guards or temporary support for commercial-site contracts.

This is a delivery-partner enquiry route for principal contractors. Availability, coverage and commercial terms are assessed for the specific requirement. No existing partnership with any named company is implied.

Tell us what support you need

Describe the service, site postcode, start date, shifts and expected duration. Include whether the requirement is urgent, temporary absence cover, ongoing support or overflow work. Specify required duties, site access and any project-specific training or documentation.

Agree the delivery responsibilities

Before work is confirmed, clarify who provides assignment instructions and induction, who supervises and authorises changes, the reporting system, incident escalation contacts and handover requirements. State any uniform or client-presentation requirements and the permissions needed for using existing systems.

Subcontracting or labour provision?

Clarify whether your enquiry concerns delivery of a customer contract or additional personnel working under the principal contractor’s management. The SIA treats subcontracting and labour provision differently. The agreement should identify who supervises the team and who checks licensing, screening and vetting.

SIA approved contractors may subcontract only to other approved contractors unless the SIA has given permission otherwise. Confirm the proposed arrangement and any required permission before work is agreed. Individual SIA licences do not establish company ACS approval; no ACS approval is claimed here. See the SIA guidance on subcontracting and labour provision.

Compliance and supplier checks

Provide your supplier onboarding requirements. Relevant licence, insurance, qualification, training, vetting and operational records need to be checked for the proposed assignment. A client or principal contractor may require additional checks; no particular company accreditation is claimed on this page.

Commercial scope

A proposal needs the duty specification, shift hours, contract duration and location. Clarify rates, invoicing, approved timesheets, changes, cancellations and responsibility for additional work before deployment. Requesting urgent cover does not guarantee that a suitable team is available.

K9 and guarding support for security contractors

Send your company name, site postcode, service, start date, shift pattern and expected duration. For short-notice enquiries, explain when a decision is needed and provide the assignment instructions available so far.

  • K9 dog-and-handler cover for suitable patrol assignments.
  • Static guarding, gatehouse or access duties under an agreed specification.
  • Construction, vacant property, warehouse and industrial-site requirements.
  • Temporary absence cover or ongoing delivery support, subject to confirmed availability.

Set out who supervises the work, approves timesheets and changes, and receives incident reports. Supplier onboarding, rates and delivery responsibilities must be agreed before deployment.
